- Ci Global wins Best Passive Fire Safety Product at Intersec Awards 2026 for Ci Safe
- The system prevents electrical fires using AI-driven monitoring at socket level
- Live demos ran at Intersec Dubai, Hall 8 Stand 8G12
Ci Global has clinched the Best Passive Fire Safety Product award at the Intersec Awards 2026, spotlighting a technology that prevents electrical fires at their source rather than reacting after ignition.
The win comes as Ci Global exhibited at Intersec Dubai 2026, showcasing live demonstrations of its Ci Safe system at Hall 8, Stand 8G12. Founded by British inventor Anthony D Parfitt, a Home Office-approved innovator who developed safety-critical tech including the original ANPR system for the UK Government and police, the company targets a critical gap in fire safety. Electrical faults rank among the leading causes of fires worldwide, yet socket- and circuit-level prevention has been historically overlooked in favour of alarms, suppression and evacuation.
Ci Safe continuously monitors electrical warning signs like abnormal heat build-up and fault conditions. It uses local AI for immediate autonomous action and cloud-based AI for pattern analysis across buildings. The system operates online or offline, integrating with building management and national safety platforms. It also features a command-and-control layer with a live 3D digital twin, giving building managers and emergency crews real-time visibility — even in low-connectivity scenarios.
Accepting the award, Ci Global Founder and Chairman Anthony D Parfitt said: “Ci Safe was built because I couldn’t accept that electrical fires are treated as inevitable. Recognition like this matters not because of a trophy, but because it signals a shift in how fire safety is being approached – earlier, and with prevention designed into the fabric of buildings.”
The Intersec Award underscores industry momentum towards prevention-led fire safety, especially as buildings grow more electrically complex.
