A new modular lighting system designed to improve visibility for professionals working in low-light conditions has been launched by Peli Products.
The ModLight Pivot is a compact, low-profile solution built to integrate directly into the company’s range of protective cases, offering hands-free illumination for users operating in demanding environments.
Announced in Barcelona in April 2026, the system has been developed with production crews, content creators and field professionals in mind, particularly those working beyond daylight hours or in confined spaces.
The lighting unit can be installed in seconds using pre-applied double-sided tape, removing the need for tools or additional fittings. Its pivoting light head allows users to adjust the beam direction with precision, enabling pan, tilt and rotation depending on the task.
Multiple lighting modes—including red, blue and white—are available, alongside dimming and glare control, allowing the system to adapt to different operational needs. The rechargeable battery provides up to 18 hours of use and can be powered via USB-C while in operation.
According to Ebru Doyuran, the product was created to meet the needs of professionals working under pressure. She said the aim was to deliver a lighting system that integrates directly into the case, ensuring reliable illumination without complicating workflows.
The ModLight Pivot is designed to withstand heavy use, including transport and impact, in line with the durability standards associated with Peli’s protective case range.
The system is compatible with most Peli Air, Protector and Storm cases and works alongside existing lid accessories. It is intended for use across a wide range of sectors, including media production, emergency response, industrial maintenance and field operations.
A magnetic quick-release feature allows the light head to be detached for handheld use or recharging, while remaining secure during transit.
The company said the new product is aimed at helping users access equipment more efficiently in low-light or restricted environments, supporting tasks across industries from audiovisual production to engineering and defence.
