A new range of EN54-certified fire alarm sounders and sounder beacons has been introduced for use in fire protection applications requiring high performance and reduced power consumption.

The range includes the MULTI SOUNDER FA acoustic sounder and the MULTI LED SOUNDER FA acoustic and visual sounder beacon by Sirena. Both devices are designed for continuous operation and can be connected in series.

The units operate on 12/24V DC and are rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress. They are designed to function in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.

According to the manufacturer, the devices are constructed using self-extinguishing polycarbonate with high impact resistance. Installation is carried out using standard screws.

The MULTI SOUNDER FA features an electromagnetic buzzer with a maximum sound output of 105 dB. Users can select eight sound combinations from ten available tones via a dip-switch, as well as choose between high and low volume settings.

The MULTI LED SOUNDER FA combines an electromagnetic buzzer with 12 SMD LEDs. The device allows users to configure sound combinations, volume levels, light intensity and flashing frequency using a dip-switch. Flashing frequencies of 1Hz and 0.5Hz are available, and the acoustic function can be disabled if required.

Both products are certified to EN54 standards for fire detection and alarm systems.
