In the Middle East, the company’s solutions have been used in major infrastructure environments including Dubai Metro and Dubai International Airport.

The award highlights the growing international demand for specialist fire protection technologies as industries worldwide address evolving risks linked to electrification, energy storage and increasingly complex infrastructure.

For fire safety professionals across the Middle East, the company’s growth reflects the wider trend towards the adoption of advanced suppression technologies designed to manage new and emerging hazards. Major developments across the region, from transport networks and airports to industrial facilities, are placing increasing emphasis on resilient fire protection strategies that can support changing operational requirements.

Commenting on the recognition, Stuart Elford, Chief Executive of Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce, said: “AVD Fire has taken a technology developed in Staffordshire and turned it into a global fire safety standard. Forty-two countries, 88% of turnover from exports, clients including NATO partners and two of the world’s busiest airports, and a forward order book that points to substantial further growth.”

The International Trade Award recognises businesses that have demonstrated success in developing overseas markets and expanding their global presence. AVD Fire’s achievement reflects the company’s continued focus on international partnerships and the delivery of specialist fire safety solutions across multiple sectors.
