The new business follows the recent launch of FDI Consultancy Services in the UAE and gives the group the capability to provide services spanning fire strategy and consultancy through to installation, remediation, testing and compliance.
Fire Dynamics International will work with developers, principal contractors, consultants, facilities managers and building owners across new and existing properties.
Its services include fire door installation, fire stopping, compartmentation, penetration sealing and passive fire remediation, alongside active fire protection systems.
The company says the new division is intended to address what it identifies as a gap between fire safety consultancy and on-site implementation, allowing clients to use separate services independently or access a more integrated offering.
“Compliance isn’t a single checkpoint; it’s a continuous thread that runs from concept design and engineering through procurement, installation and commissioning, with Civil Defence approval as the final test,” said Elliott Brown, Founder and Managing Director of The FDI Group.
“Any break in that thread introduces risk. By launching Fire Dynamics International alongside FDI Consultancy Services, we’re bringing those capabilities together,” he added.
Fire Dynamics International has already secured several projects in the UAE. These include full active and passive fire protection installation at DIFC’s Index Tower, with a similar scope of work due to begin at Eywa Tower in Business Bay.
The launch forms part of The FDI Group’s wider UAE expansion as demand grows for integrated fire safety services and greater emphasis is placed on building quality and regulatory compliance.
Founded in the UK in 2020, The FDI Group initially established itself in fire door consultancy and inspection services before expanding its offering into the UAE.
