Peter Stephenson BEng (Hons), FIFireE is an international fire and life safety engineer and fire & emergency response specialist with more than four decades of experience spanning operational fire service, rail infrastructure, consultancy and major development programmes across the Middle East, United Kingdom and Asia-Pacific. He currently provides strategic fire and life safety leadership in Saudi Arabia, supporting the delivery and operational readiness of a major giga-project aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 ambitions. His experience covers fire engineering strategy, emergency response planning, regulatory compliance, authority engagement, construction fire safety, commissioning and the integration of fire and life safety into complex urban developments. Peter is a Fellow of the Institution of Fire Engineers and has been closely involved in the development of the IFE GCC UAE Branch for many years. Having previously served as Branch President, he now supports the Branch as a committee member and International General Assembly representative, promoting professional development, knowledge sharing and international best practice across the region. He is also a regular contributor to industry publications, conferences and technical forums, with a particular interest in mentoring the next generation of fire safety professionals.
