I am a globally recognized authority on active fire protection systems with more than thirty years of experience in technology development, codes, standards, and management within the fire protection manufacturing industry. Currently, I serve as Managing Director and CEO of the International Fire Suppression Alliance (IFSA), dedicated to advancing effective water-based fire protection systems worldwide. My expertise covers the full spectrum of technologies, including sprinklers, water spray, mist, and special-hazard applications like clean agents and foams. I hold three U.S. patents in water-based fire protection technology and actively contribute to numerous NFPA technical committees. My contributions have been honored with prestigious awards, including the 2024 NFSA Russell P. Fleming Technical Service Award and the 2021 SFPE Harold E. Nelson Service Award. I hold a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology and an MBA.
