  • Intersec Saudi Arabia will return in October 2027, with exact dates to be confirmed.
  • The 2026 edition had originally been scheduled for 16-18 November in Riyadh.
  • Fire Middle East Conference has been rescheduled to 1 June 2027.

The organisers said the decision followed ongoing assessment of the evolving situation, in consultation with government partners and stakeholders locally and internationally. They cited the safety and wellbeing of customers, partners and staff, as well as the need to ensure the event delivers the international scale and quality expected of the Intersec brand.

On a post on the Intersec Saudi Arabia website the organisers said: “The focus now moves to returning with a stronger, larger and more impactful event in 2027, reflecting the ambition of the Saudi market and creating the right conditions for global participation, strong business outcomes and a high-quality event experience.”

Riham Sedik, Show Director, Intersec Saudi Arabia, at Messe Frankfurt Middle East (MFME), said in an official press release about the postponement: “Since 2019, Intersec Saudi Arabia has strengthened its position as a flagship platform connecting the global security, safety, and fire protection ecosystem in the Kingdom.

“Our commitment will always be to bring the industry together in a safe, accessible, and commercially valuable way, working closely with local authorities and partners. With the event only weeks away, the postponement will allow us to deliver the strongest possible experience for all participants next year.”

Intersec Saudi Arabia is not the only event in the region which has had to alter its plans due to the regional situation. Fire Middle East Conference has also been rescheduled to Tuesday 1 June 2027.
